Color: a concentrated brillant red.
Aromas: elegant and complex aromas of flowers, plum fruit, Blackberry and blueberry, in addition there intriguing of notes of forest floor undertones.
Palate: full-bodied, yet soft at the same time. With ample aeration, the finish is very clean and long.
The 2009 Greppicante ratchets up the intensity of fruit in a round, seamless style laced with dark fruit, mocha, spices and French oak. Elements of slight over-ripeness come through on the finish. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2018.
